Day by day, He is transforming you.
From the inside out, He is making you new. A new creation. His new creation.
He made you new on the cross, and now, today, He is still making you new.
He is purging you of the desires and wants that are not of Him. He is ridding you of the qualities that are not like His. He is making you into a beautiful masterpiece, one that will declare His glory always.
Yet, in the meantime, be patient with yourself. Be patient with your lack of understanding about why things are happening and why things must be the way that they are. Be patient with your seeming lack of qualities that point others to Christ.
Be patient because He is pruning you. He is using your present circumstances to show of an even greater glory that is to come.
He is taking what is old and making it new. He is taking what is dead and making it come to life again.
He is not done with you. He is not through with you.
He is patient with you on this process of transforming, so you too can be patient with yourself.
Mercy is a gift. Give it, receive it, and give it to yourself.
You are a masterpiece in the making. One that will declare His glory forever.
He is in the process of transforming you. Just be patient.
